The environmental cleanup effort consists of 4 key phases. These phases take the environment through the cleanup cycle which includes; 1) Assessment of OS data files, Database tables and current cleanup processes 2) Documented retention policies 3) Implementation of approved solutions to enforce retention policies 4) Reporting on implemented solution

Phase 1: Environment Assessment / Data Analysis

• Objective:
  - Provide a “current state” environment assessment
  - OS data files – number of files, file size, interface programs and frequency
  - Data base – top tables
  - Procedural Review – current cleanup policies and processes
  - Build Team and Project Plan
• Key Deliverables:
  - Environment Assessment and Recommendation
  - Project Plan
  - Purge plan goals / ROI estimate

Phase 2: Build, Test, & Approve

• Objective:
  - Approved Retention Agreements
  - Build Custom Purge Processes
  - Test Custom Purge Processes
• Key Deliverables:
  - Purge Processes fully built and tested
  - Approved Retention Agreements

Phase 3: Deploy

• Objective:
  - Production Code Deploy
  - Run Purge processes to approved data retention levels
  - Purge Run Book
• Key Deliverables:
  - Data is purged
  - Training Guide (Purge Process/ Run Book)

Phase 4: Monitor Progress & Report

• Objective:
  - Capture actual size reduction and calculate ROI actual
• Key Deliverables:
  - ROI Actual
  - Size and Cost savings reports
